Middle Eastern restaurant website design

Moods Canada is a Middle Eastern restaurant serving charcoal grill dishes, hawawshi and konafa, with catering, bookings and online ordering.

The site has three jobs that pull in different directions and it keeps them apart rather than blending them: a diner wanting a table, a customer ordering to their door, and someone booking catering for an event. Each gets its own route from the navigation instead of being funnelled into one generic contact form.

Food photography carries the weight here, as it should — dishes like hawawshi and konafa sell themselves to people who know them and intrigue people who do not, in a way that a written description cannot manage.

Bookings, events and catering enquiries are all handled through the site, so the restaurant is not fielding every request by phone during service.

Built so the menu can be changed by the restaurant, which for a food business is the difference between a site that stays current and one that quietly goes stale.
