The design brief. An online jewellery store where the products are small, the margins depend on perceived value, and the design has to feel expensive without ever saying so.
Letting it breathe. The defining decision is space. Wide margins, generous padding, very little on screen at once. Luxury retail design works by subtraction — a crowded page reads as a discounter regardless of the price on the tag. Every element here is given room, which is itself a signal that nothing needs to fight for attention.
Palette and type. Warm blush and cream, drawn from the gold in the product photography so the interface and the merchandise share a colour story. The headline is set in a light serif at large size with tight leading — serif for heritage, light weight for delicacy, matching the physical qualities of what is being sold.
Layered composition. A video panel overlaps the hero image, breaking the rectangle and adding depth without decoration. Calls to action are plain underlined text rather than filled buttons: at this price point a bold button feels like a supermarket, and the restraint carries more authority.
