The design brief. An education site carrying courses, campus information, events and a student login, for an institution whose credibility rests on looking established rather than fashionable.
Visual language. We took the hero photography of the campus architecture and applied a deep navy duotone, then set the headline in a large serif. That pairing is deliberate: serif type reads as academic and enduring, and flattening the photograph to a single colour keeps it from competing with the words. A trend-led sans-serif treatment would have made a centuries-old institution look like a startup.
Course discovery. Courses are presented as cards carrying the three details a prospective student actually decides on — duration, level, and next start date — visible before any click. Most education sites bury those inside a prospectus PDF; surfacing them lets someone rule a course in or out in seconds.
Structure. Navigation separates courses, events and the learning platform, with login and registration held apart from marketing pages, because prospective and current students want entirely different things from the same site.
