The design brief. A commercial construction firm working across education, healthcare, residential, retail, oil and gas, and mining. The audience is not the public — it is procurement teams, architects and developers awarding contracts worth millions, and they judge capability rather than friendliness.
Full-bleed project photography. The hero is a wide-angle architectural shot of a completed building looking up from street level, with the project name, location and a slide counter overlaid. Leading with finished work rather than a mission statement is the right order for this audience: a developer wants to see what the firm has actually delivered before reading anything about values.
The three pillars section. Pre-construction and estimates, precise engineering, and detailing with 3D modelling — presented as three numbered columns separated by thin rules, each with a short explanation. Numbering them turns a list of services into a described methodology, which is what a procurement team is assessing. It implies process and repeatability rather than ad-hoc capability.
Sector icons. The markets served are shown as a grid of small amber icons with labels. Sector experience is often the qualifying criterion in construction tendering — a hospital project will not go to a firm with no healthcare record — so those sectors are made scannable rather than buried in prose.
Typography and restraint. Clean sans-serif with generous spacing, a light grey background, and amber used sparingly as the only accent. The design deliberately avoids the heavy, dark, aggressive styling common to construction sites. The work in the photographs is monumental enough; the interface's job is to stay out of the way and read as organised and precise, which is exactly what the firm is selling.
Photography of the crew. A close shot of a worker in a hard hat handling rigging sits alongside the sector grid. Balancing finished buildings with people at work signals that the firm self-performs rather than only managing, which matters to anyone awarding a contract.
