Personal-service businesses are chosen on the person, not the premises. Somebody picking a barber is deciding whether they trust this particular pair of hands, which makes the usual small-business template — stock photography and generic copy about quality and service — exactly the wrong approach.
So the site keeps the barber's own voice rather than smoothing it into marketing language. The craft and the teaching ambition stay in, because they are what separate him from the shop down the road, and the experience is stated plainly.
